Nestor Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms explain how paid subscriptions, free trials, premium access, and subscription-related features work in Nestor.

By purchasing, starting, or using a Nestor subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Subscription Plans

Nestor may offer paid subscription plans, including but not limited to:

  • Nestor Premium
  • Nestor Student
  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Annual subscriptions
  • Free trials
  • Promotional offers
  • Discounted offers

The exact price, billing period, renewal terms, included features, and subscription name are shown before purchase on the subscription screen.

Available plans, pricing, features, and offers may vary depending on your country, platform, account status, app version, and eligibility for promotions.

2. Nestor Premium

Nestor Premium is designed for users who want broader access to Nestor's investing tools, AI-powered features, market summaries, watchlists, asset research, personalization, and other premium app functionality.

Premium features may include, depending on availability:

  • Advanced investing dashboards
  • AI-powered market summaries
  • Alfred assistant features
  • Stock and asset research tools
  • Personalized investing insights
  • Watchlist tools
  • Academy access
  • Quizzes and educational content
  • Other premium features added over time

Nestor Premium is intended to provide a wider feature set than Nestor Student.

3. Nestor Student

Nestor Student is a lower-cost subscription plan designed mainly for users who want access to Nestor's educational features.

The Student plan is focused primarily on:

  • Academy content
  • Investing lessons
  • Educational explanations
  • Quizzes
  • Learning progress
  • Selected AI-powered educational support
  • Beginner-friendly investing education

The Student plan is not the same as Nestor Premium. It may have fewer advanced investing tools, limited AI usage, reduced research features, fewer market analysis tools, or other feature limitations compared with Premium.

Nestor does not currently require student verification for the Student plan. However, we may introduce eligibility checks, verification, usage limits, feature changes, or other requirements in the future if needed to keep the plan affordable and sustainable.

If the Student plan changes materially, we will handle those changes according to applicable law, App Store rules, and the terms shown to users at the time.

4. Subscription Features

A subscription may provide access to premium features, educational content, AI tools, market data, summaries, personalized insights, and other functionality inside Nestor.

We may update, improve, modify, replace, limit, or remove features over time. Some features may be experimental, unavailable in certain countries, limited by third-party providers, or subject to usage limits.

We aim to keep Nestor useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or unchanged.

5. Billing and Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple through your Apple ID.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. The renewal price and billing period are shown before purchase.

Apple may charge your account before the start of the next subscription period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

If a subscription price changes, Apple may notify you and may require your consent before the new price applies.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current billing period. After cancellation, you will usually continue to have access to paid features until the end of the current paid subscription period.

On iPhone, subscriptions are usually managed through: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Nestor > Cancel Subscription.

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before it renews if you do not want to continue being charged.

7. Refund Policy

All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Apple's App Store rules.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, refund requests must generally be submitted directly to Apple. Apple decides whether a refund is approved. We do not control Apple's refund process, refund timing, refund eligibility, or final refund decision.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Forgetting to cancel before renewal
  • Not using the app after purchase
  • Partial months or partial years
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Features that were available but not used
  • Choosing the wrong subscription plan
  • Differences between Student and Premium features that were shown before purchase
  • Temporary bugs, outages, data delays, or third-party service issues, unless required by law or Apple's rules
  • Loss of access caused by violating our Terms of Service
  • AI usage limits, fair-use limits, or plan-specific limits that were disclosed or reasonably necessary to protect the service

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

8. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Nestor may offer free trials, discounts, or promotional pricing.

The length of the trial, the renewal price, and the billing date will be shown before purchase. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a free trial may convert into a paid subscription.

Promotional offers may be limited to certain users, plans, countries, devices, platforms, or time periods. We may modify, remove, or limit promotional offers at any time, subject to applicable law and platform rules.

9. Restore Purchases

Nestor should include a Restore Purchases option for users who already purchased a subscription through the App Store.

If you reinstall the app, change devices, or lose access to paid features, you may need to use Restore Purchases or sign in with the same account used for the original purchase.

A subscription is generally connected to the Apple ID, platform account, or Nestor account used to purchase it.

10. Usage Limits and Fair Use

Some Nestor features may be subject to usage limits, especially AI-powered tools, Alfred assistant features, research summaries, market summaries, personalization, and other features that depend on third-party services or infrastructure costs.

We may apply fair-use limits, rate limits, monthly limits, plan-specific limits, or temporary restrictions to protect service quality, prevent abuse, manage costs, and keep Nestor available for other users.

You may not:

  • Abuse AI features
  • Bypass subscription limits
  • Share paid access outside your own account
  • Scrape, copy, or resell data from Nestor
  • Use automated tools to overload the service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit Nestor
  • Use Nestor in a way that harms the app, our providers, or other users

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe a user is abusing the service or violating these terms.

11. Market Data, AI Content, and Educational Content

Nestor may display market data, stock information, financial information, news summaries, analyst-style outputs, AI-generated explanations, educational content, and portfolio-related insights.

Nestor is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nestor does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or trading advice.

Nothing in Nestor is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security, ETF, cryptocurrency, asset, or financial instrument.

Market data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or provided by third-party sources. AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or incomplete analysis.

You are responsible for your own financial decisions. You should verify information independently before making investment decisions.

12. No Guarantee of Investment Results

Nestor does not guarantee:

  • Investment returns
  • Trading success
  • Portfolio growth
  • Market prediction accuracy
  • Better financial performance
  • Accuracy of AI-generated outputs
  • Accuracy of market forecasts
  • Any specific financial outcome

Investing involves risk, including possible loss of capital.

13. Availability and Third-Party Services

We try to keep Nestor available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Nestor may depend on third-party services, including data providers, AI providers, payment processors, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, and App Store systems.

Features may be unavailable, delayed, limited, or inaccurate because of:

  • Maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • Internet connection problems
  • Third-party API outages
  • Data provider issues
  • App Store issues
  • Payment processing problems
  • Legal or regulatory restrictions
  • Events outside our reasonable control

We are not responsible for failures caused by third-party services outside our control.

14. Changes to Subscription Plans

We may change subscription plans, features, pricing, usage limits, or included benefits over time.

If we make material changes that significantly affect your subscription, we may notify you through the app, email, App Store, or another reasonable method.

Any changes will be handled according to applicable law, App Store rules, and the terms presented to you at the time.

15. Payment Processing

Payments made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple.

We do not control Apple's billing systems, payment authorization, refund approval, charge timing, currency conversion, taxes, regional pricing, or App Store pricing tiers.

Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, exchange rates, Apple pricing tiers, and promotional eligibility.

16. Account Access and Subscription Status

To access subscription features, you may need to use the same Apple ID, Nestor account, or platform account used for purchase.

If your payment fails, your subscription expires, your subscription is cancelled, or your account cannot be verified, access to paid features may be paused or removed.

We may also remove access if required by Apple, law, payment providers, or our Terms of Service.

17. Termination or Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to paid features if:

  • Your subscription expires or is cancelled
  • Payment fails
  • You violate our Terms of Service
  • You abuse refunds, trials, promotions, AI tools, or market data
  • You attempt to bypass technical or subscription limits
  • We are required to do so by law, Apple, or another platform provider
  • Continued access would create security, legal, technical, or business risk

Termination for violation of our terms does not automatically create a refund right.

18. Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may notify users through the app, website, email, App Store, or another reasonable method.

Continued use of Nestor after updated Subscription Terms become effective means you accept the updated terms, except where additional consent is required by law or platform rules.
